Job Description Consultant: Helpdesk Technician, Written And Oral Communication Skills, Microsoft Certifications,

Description:

Consultant will be responsible for Tier 1 service desk duties that include covering Help Desk telephones, resetting passwords for various in-house systems, creating tickets in our electronic ticketing system, and providing basic Tier 1 troubleshooting. The consultant will be required to work on-site in the Columbia, SC office 40 hours a week for three months.

Responsibilities:

Client Technologies Technician - Consultant will be responsible for Tier 1 service desk duties that include covering Help Desk telephones, resetting passwords for various in-house systems, creating tickets in our electronic ticketing system, and providing basic Tier 1 troubleshooting. The consultant will be required to work on-site in the Columbia, SC office 40 hours a week for three months.

Duties include:
• Telephone support of Agency staff
• Resetting passwords for in-house systems
• Basic telephone troubleshooting
• Creating tickets in the Grouplink ticketing system.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Groupwise and Novell environments preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to effectively work and communicate, in both oral and written, with all levels of the Department.

Education:
Associates Degree, preferred

Certifications:
Appropriate Microsoft Certification, preferred
