SCOPE OF THE PROJECT: THE CFS PROJECT TEAM S RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, THE CFS PROJECT IS PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES (DSS) AND IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, IMPLEMENTING, MAINTAINING, AND OBTAINING FEDERAL CERTIFICATION OF A FEDERALLY-MANDATED CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM (CSES) THAT WILL PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT TO THE OPERATION OF SOUTH CAROLINAS CHILD SUPPORT ENFORCEMENT (CSE) PROGRAM AS WELL AS FOR COMPLETING THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE FAMILY COURT CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (FCCMS) FOR THE 46 CLERKS OF COURT. DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is for an experienced project management office (PMO) manager with experience in project management methodologies, MS Project, schedule development and management practices, and software development. Knowledge and experience in the Software Development Lifecycle, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office products is needed to help manage and maintain the project schedule and other PMO artifacts. A significant portion of this positions responsibility will be oversight of the planning and execution of work being performed by a vendor that is under contract to develop and implement CSES and FCCMS. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate and coordinate activities with diverse groups, including stakeholders, sponsors, team leads, vendors, other project managers, and technical staff. As the PMO Manager and member of the project team, this individual will: • Assist project leadership in managing all aspects of the CFS project, with focus on creating and maintaining the Project Schedule • Assist in the collection of Project Schedule updates and the application of the updates • Assist in the creation and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure and its linkage to the Project Schedule • Assist project leadership in the day to day analysis and management of project critical path and defined “tasks to watch” • Manage the creation, maintenance and analysis of project risks, issues, and action items • Manage the creation, maintenance and analysis of project metrics and reports • Prepare, organize, run, and properly document the project meetings • Providing clear and accurate weekly and monthly project reporting and forecasting • Assist project team leads in schedule decomposition, estimating, and resourcing • Review the schedule and assist team members in understanding their activities REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): (SEE BEELINE DESCRIPTION) • EXPERIENCE IN GENERAL PMO RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING: CREATING PROJECT GOVERNANCE PLANS AND PROCESSES; MANAGING ALL ASPECTS OF PROJECT EXECUTION INCLUDING CREATING AND TRACKING SCHEDULE AND SCOPE BASELINES; MANAGING PROJECT CHANGE AND CONFIGURATION; MANAGING ISSUES AND RISKS • 3-5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND/OR SCHEDULE   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
