IT systems will include but not be limited to wired and wireless networks, telephone, servers, digital signage, and video distribution. Specifically, the Contractor will provide comprehensive project management services, which will facilitate successful installation of equipment in new and renovated facilities. This project management solution should cover: • Initial planning meetings with Client Projects, Network Operations and Educational Technology Teams to define system requirements. • Development of detailed scope of work and timeline for installations. • Coordination of the timeline for installation. • Oversight/supervision of the installation systems. • Certification and sign-off on completed installations. Project Management Services This position is responsible for coordinating designated installation crews and assigned projects, insuring quality and timeliness of installation projects, and overall project management. Project management responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks: * Conducting/attending meetings with contractors • Coordinating contractors/trades • Reviewing plans, drawings, schedules, etc. • Manage major project tasks and time lines • Conducting site inspections • Quality Assurance • Receiving, reviewing and approving submittals and deliverables • Preparing/reviewing punch lists • Conducting acceptance meetings • Managing the Change Order/Service Order process • Insuring quality and timeliness of installation projects. • Project Documentation as necessary Required Skills: • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification • Minimum of at least 3 years of successful project management in network installation projects in large K-12 school districts within the last 5 years • Familiarity with all NEC, EIA, TIA, standards • Direct supervisory experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent customer service skills • District-wide travel   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
