Description :

The Healthcare industry uses specialized knowledgeable consultants to address business needs on the entire continuum of the healthcare landscape. Consultants in this group distinguish themselves through industry specialized education, experience, recognition and influence. Collectively, they support our clients in driving to successful delivery of value-based, healthcare oriented solutions that meet and exceed their organizations vision.



Requirements:

· Demonstrated at least 5 years of proven experience directly leading a team of software developers.

· Hands on experience on complex software development projects.

· Demonstrated technical delivery leadership experience leading a team responsible for designing application solutions using C/Unix (or similar software language).

· Candidates should have previously done software development and should be able to develop quick credibility with senior developers already on the team.

· Candidate must be able to effectively lead a team of 20+ developers and can communicate effectively with developers to understand roadblocks and resolve technical issues.

· Ability to provide technical direction on day to day activities and proactively engage to remove roadblocks to meet aggressive timelines.

· Multi-project experience working in a client-facing leadership role with both business users and IS users.

· Key client has significant experience, so gaining credibility is important to success.

· Experience participating in both waterfall and iterative/agile-like development projects and understands CMMI certification requirements for documentation of artifacts.

· Will be taking over an established team that has demonstrated much recent success.

· Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels including senior leaders.

· Healthcare industry experience a plus (will help with gaining credibility)
