Expert in debugging issues in existing job designs. Proficient in automating the jobs designed. - Experience writing SQL codes. Knowledge on performance tuning of SQL queries would be preferred. The candidate should be proficient in querying data on databases like Oracle 9i/10g/11g, SQL Server. - Should have a clear understanding of Data Warehouses (Dimensions,Measures,Star schema etc.) and their implementation. - Should be able to dig into every aspect of a job design and redesign any ETL job individually, if need be. - Skills in sqoop, hbase would be a definite plus - Should have worked on Linux and Windows Operating systems. Should be proficient with basic Linux skills. - Ability to analyze and question/challenge the existing design and should be able to bring in all his expertise in proposing/architecting the best design. - Required to have good coordination and communication skill to work with a global team.
