Tasks include assisting with upgrade and installation of new version of Business Objects. Other tasks application analysis and coding tasks in Business Objects to ensure reports and universes perform as designed. Performs research and analyze applications issues and requirements. Works closely with other Business Intelligence technical staff. Conduct reviews of proposed design and again after coding and unit testing of assignment. Will perform testing to verify that the software developed meets the business requirements. Performs other related work as assigned. Worker will adhere to and follow all BI Design templates and standards. Onsite Requirement:Worker will be required to work onsite with the team. Working remotely will be limited and must be pre-approved by the Project Manager/Direct Supervisor *40 hours per week or more. Candidate may have to work evenings or weekends in order to meet business needs and or deadlines. • Perform Application Analysis, Design and Programming in Business Objects development • Perform coding tasks in Business Objects • Perform coding tasks in SQL developing with DB2 LUW Database • Perform Unit Testing and System Integration testing of applicable changes based on the requirements or applications defects. • Communicate effectively and correctly in writing and verbally on a variety of business matters as required • Perform related work as assigned Required Skills: * Extensive experience in requirements gathering for multiple large projects with critical dead-lines; with experience facilitating work sessions * Experience with Extreme/Agile Project Management Practices. * Experience with Business Objects, including WEBI reports and Universe Design * Experience with SQL in a DB2 LUW Database * Experience in documenting and developing source to target mappings and detailed design of ETL processes * Extensive hands-on experience migrating to Business Objects XI 3.1 and prior releases * Gathering requirements for Business Objects/Business Intelligence project(s) * Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements * Experience in unit and system integration testing of developed application * Experience in documenting on universe and related environments * Experience upgrading from Business Objects 3.2 to 4.x Desired Skills: * Proficient with the Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Project, Word, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint * Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
