Description:


The client requires the services of one or more Developer Analysts, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of a Developer Analyst 3Category,Emerging Technology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the client.


Required Skills:


* Direct experience working with GIS Tools and applications such as ESRIs ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcGIS Server.
* Knowledge of GIS data structures, including topology and also must be familiar with practices for editing GIS data.
* Experience working with scripting languages. Python and JavaScript knowledge are essential.
* Should be able to work with JQuery. Should know how to use JavaScript and Ajax/XHR to create responsive web clients that consume JSON services. Experience with a JavaScript framework like Dojo, Ember.JS, or Angular is a plus.
* Ability to coordinate work and communicate effectively with other team members.
* Can effectively document algorithms and programming APIs implemented by code they developed.
* Is able to investigate problems and find solutions even when the initial requirements may be incompletely spelled out.
* Can quickly learn new technology and apply it in practice.



Desired Skills:


* Experience with ArcSDE and versioned editing and developing applications that support GIS versioning and reconciliation.
* Experience working with ArcPy and ESRI Geoprocessing tools is a plus.
* Experience with ArcGIS server and authoring and publishing map services and geoprocessing tools for server.
* Ability to tune, configure, or optimize ArcSDE databases.
