All work products resulting from the project shall be considered “works made for hire” and are the property of the HHSC. HHSC may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Workers) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by the Texas law. HHSC will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Worker(s). The Health and Human Services system has undertaken a Corrective Action Plan (CAP) project with the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR). The focus will be assisting the Privacy Division in its formation of a compliance and monitoring unit as well as performing monitoring of compliance with current policies and procedures. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Experience with progressive broad-based information systems, system integration and project delivery experience. Expertise with MS Outlook. Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully with technical and non-technical groups to facilitate the coordination of project activities. Strong multi-tasking skills involving the specific ability to work on multiple projects or project assignments. Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail in all aspects of assignments. Strong adherence to deadlines and excellent punctuality. Ability to perform research under tight deadlines and prepare reports of findings tailored to the intended audience. Preferences: Knowledge of ARCHER or a similar Governance Risk and Compliance platform.
