Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test harnesses and test tools, and completes validation specifications and procedures for new and changes to legacy systems. Plans the labor, schedules, testing tools, and software required for validating and evaluating our solutions. Develops and documents integrated systems and platform test strategy, test plans and test cases for newly developed or current software and solutions products. Develops test tools and automation for use in testing. Directs a test team during test execution, and reports results to development engineers and leadership. Creates test plans that include resource requirements, schedule assumptions and scope based on inputs from the Development product teams. Provides the QA Manager with a High Level Test Strategy and comprehensive Test Plan for new software and solutions products. Oversees the execution, and reports the results, of product validation on new software, and solutions products. Manages the external verification partners to develop comprehensive test plans and tests coverage across multiple business units. QUALIFICATIONS In-depth QA enterprise-level testing to include automation and performance testing Experience using the following functional automation tools: UFT (Unified Functional Tester, formerly QTP), Test Complete, Selenium, Stresstimulus 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Experience using program version source control, preferable Team Foundation Server Provides deep testing subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery. Contributes to the development of new techniques and plans within area of expertise. Thorough understanding and management of business unit needs and expectations. Experience managing and driving complex cross-platform integration testing. Integrates trends, data and information into plans, deliverables and recommendations. Anticipates operational, program, and implementation issues and develops preventative measures. Adapts projects, programs or methods based on customer or business partner feedback. Experience working with an off-shore or remote team. Understanding of hardware and software system architecture. Understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issues. Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems.
