Description:

The Client requires the services ofoneProject Lead, hereafter referred to as Worker(s), who meets the general qualifications of ITSACProject Lead 2Category,EmergingTechnology Type and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client. Texas Health and Human Services Enterprise which are composed of five agencies:
• Responsible for working with the Functional and Technical Teams, DBAs and business users on system requirement gathering, analysis, design and implementation of 9.2 functionality;
• Evaluating existing customizations in 8.8 and differences between PeopleSoft version 8.8 and 9.2;
• Responsible for identification, documentation, and reporting of project risks to Project Manager and Project Team to determine the appropriate response strategy;
• Leads a Functional team of six (6) by assigning and monitoring tasks, prioritizing, and optimizing implementation tasks.
• Oversees, coordinates the functional module leads in meetings between stakeholders, resources, senior managers and executives to ensure overall completeness, accuracy and quality of end product;
• Responsible for managing the functional teams project plan and schedule throughout the various phases of the project life cycle;


Required Skills:

* Experience as a PeopleSoft Functional Manager for multiple large PeopleSoft projects.
* Experience in designing, creating, and overseeing large complex high availability PeopleSoft Financials.
* Experience managing ERP Development Lifecycles.
* Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test, Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test
* Experience with developing PeopleSoft upgrade paths
* Experience conducting design sessions with subject matter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements with minimal customizations.
* Experience with Microsoft Suite (Projects, Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point)
* Proven project team building skills
* Experience writing detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
* Ability to alter project direction based on business needs or legislative directions
* Experience in IT project planning, research, analysis and development
* Experience writing and reviewing detailed test scripts for System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases.
* Experience with configuration documentation and review in PeopleSoft 9.2
* Experience teaming with business owners and technical staff in a complex, large scale PeopleSoft environment 8.8 to 9.2
* Experience with PeopleSoft version 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.53
* Experience with the CAPPS State of Texas Baseline PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management
* Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
* Experience with the PeopleSoft 9.2 Modules G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management
* Experience in managing and coordinating functional module leads through a PeopleSoft Implementation or Upgrade


Desired Skills:

* Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government).
* Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems.
* Experience with all aspects of Documentation, Planning, Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Phases within PeopleSoft versions 8.X through 9.2 Modules for G/L, A/P, AM, PO, eProcurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contract Management.
* Experience with PeopleSoft User Productivity Kit (UPK)
* Ability to set and meet functional team deadlines while maintaining an even disposition under pressure
* Experience working through development of Interfaces with Technical Team through design, build and test
