The successful candidate will be responsible for applying PeopleSoft fixes and bundles to the application(s) and should be very familiar with the PeopleSoft tools used in this process. * Services could include on-call support and support for routine maintenance will be required on weekends and nights. Applicant should have an in-depth understanding of the PeopleSoft hardware and software requirements, including 3rd party software requirements A. Provides PeopleSoft System Administration services B. Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the HHSC Project Manager C. Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of issues D. Works with PeopleSoft technical and functional resources effectively E. Displays effective analytical skills F. Coordinates with other PeopleSoft teams from other parties, as necessary G. Constantly monitors Oracle web sites for urgent and/or applicable fixes and updates Required Skills: * Experience as a System Administrator for multiple large Peoplesoft projects. * Experience performing PeopleSoft System Administration duties * Experience configuring Change Assistant hubs. * Experience with the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA) * Experience with configuration and support of integration brokers on the Linux x86-64 and network clients. * Experience with the configuration and support of agents on the Linux x86-64 and network clients. * [Strong]Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels. * [Strong]PeopleSoft version 9.x experience and PeopleTools 8.52 experience * [Strong]Trained in PeopleSoft System Administration tools, including Change Assistant Desired Skills: * Demonstrated experience with Linux x86-64 and network clients Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). * Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff on the project. * Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams (e.g., portfolio/project managers, domain experts, users, and software engineering team) to design and deploy business information systems across the enterprise. * Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems. * Experience working with enterprise software solutions.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
