Candidates must have very good communication skills and resume must have extensive mobile testing experience. We are currently seeking a Mobile Test Lead for a 6 month + contract for our corporate client located in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for the testing of mobile applications against various mobile devices in a distributed Agile development environment Requirements: 8+ years experience in software testing 5+ years experience as a team lead 5+ years experience working with mobile application testing tools for automation, performance and virtual device testing 4+ years experience with mobile application testing 4+ years experience testing in an Agile development environment 4+ years experience with automated regression test scripting and execution 3+ years experience testing on various iOS, Android and MS operating systems 3+ years experience with automated regression test framework design, creation and implementation 2+ years experience testing in a distributed development environment 2+ years experience setting up and maintaining a mobile test environment Experience with designing, implementing and enforcing mobile application testing practices and standards Experience in creating mobile test configurations Must be self-directed, identify risks and establish mitigation paths Must be able to motivate and lead a small testing team Must be able to collaborate with development, business analysis and project leadership; and manifest issue resolution skills Must have excellent verbal and writing skills Must accept responsibility for the quality of all released products under testing teams jurisdiction Must exercise good judgment in resource usage Must have a sound and in-depth understanding of the test methods used in a STLC Sound understanding of mobile communication protocols Must show good understanding of current wireless technologies Responsibities: Provide local leadership in the creation and maintenance of a mobile testing center of excellence Write, execute and maintain manual test cases Test mobile applications on various iOS, Android and MS operating systems Write mobile software test process and standards documentation Gather and assess application requirements for creating test requirements and manual test scripts Create and maintain application test plans for an Agile development model including, prioritization, risk management, level of effort evaluation, scheduling, and product coverage mapping Identify and enforce industry standard best practices Perform usage modeling test script design Gather and interpret test quality metrics Provide test project status to project leadership and key decision makers Ensure customer expectations for product quality on all released products are met Perform test case peer reviews Keep legacy test cases updated Manage test case usage according to project schedules and quality requirements Day to day task management according to a Scrum based environment Perform Mobile testing tool evaluation and oversee approved tool implementation Perform testing process efficiency reviews and refinement initiatives Help strategize and plan for proof of concept for tool selection and implementation Participate in project assessment for developing a strategic approach and roadmap Identify application defects and perform defect management   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
