Project Management Project Life Cycle Microsoft Office MS PROJECT Manager (Jobs   Requirement id 18589 Job title Manager Job location in Dallas, TX Skills required Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Relationship Management, Problem Solving Skills, Project Management Project Life Cycle Mi Open Date 05-May-2014 Close Date Job type Contract to Hire Duration 3 Months Compensation DOE Status requirement --- Job interview type Phone Screening Apply    Email Recruiter: coolsoft Job Description Manager: Written And Verbal Communication Skills, Relationship Management, Problem Solving Skills, Project Management Project Life Cycle Mi ** Only W2 Employee - No Subcontracting ** Can submit only Green Card and Citizens ** Can submit at higher rate *** Over Time is paid at 1.420 times OT - Extra Hours on Weekdays and Saturdays *** Double Time is paid at 2.0 times DT - Hours worked on Sundays Description: • Lead all aspects of the implementation of assigned clients and serve as a single point of contact for those clients projects. • Partner with internal Account Manager, Sales Executive and the external client to take projects from original concept through final implementation. • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, and status report. • Create and maintain a project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, ETAs, task dependencies, and critical paths. • Control and track project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings. • Conduct project meetings to provide progress updates on projects. • Coordinate with other project managers and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies. • Facilitate meetings, as needed, to initiate working sessions, resolve project issues, etc. • Prepare and conduct informal and formal presentations • Build relationships with all functional areas and manage stakeholder expectations Required Qualifications: Education: • Bachelor degree in Management, Computer Science or other related discipline or equivalent experience Job Related Experience: • Five to ten years of professional experience in a project management and/or consulting role. • One to three years of experience managing medium size cross-functional projects • Three to five years of experience in meeting planning, facilitation, and public speaking Additional Skills/Knowledge: • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to build relationships with and influence other functional areas • Ability to work in a matrix environment • Detail and big picture orientation • Problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and resultant methodologies • Knowledge of the development project lifecycle (e.g., design, development, testing, implementation, etc.) • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications • Proficient with Project Management Tools including MS Project   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
