Job Description Specialist: Tax Administration, Fund Management, Investment Fund,

Client: Foley & Lardner LLP
Summary:
• Client is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in our Dallas office.
• Clients Transactions Practice Group is integrated nationally and principally involves M&A and securities matters for publicly and privately held middle market/upper middle market companies and private equity firms.
• This position involves primarily working on US and international M&A transactions and requires an associate who is comfortable working on teams and having regular, direct interaction with partners, senior associates, and clients.
• The associate will be joining an energetic and collaborative culture that values character, work ethic and personal/professional development.
• Qualified candidates will have experience representing clients in a variety of complex corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, financings, corporate governance, securities, and other commercial transactions.
• The ideal candidate will have strong document drafting, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic.
• We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has a strong desire to contribute to a team.
• Top academics and experience required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Texas Bar will be a condition of employment.
