Must Have Qualifications for Data Engineer: Minimum 5 years of hands on SQL coding experience. Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases. Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets Ability to multi-task Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills Comfortable working in Agile, fast paced teams. Strong command of the English language, both oral and written. Preferred: Experience in SAP HANA - Native SQL, Data Modelling, Calculation Views Native HANA performance tuning techniques Good understanding of Data warehousing concepts Nice to Have: Experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
