This support will provide data protection for Oracle RDBMS database systems by responding to requests and issues surrounding the Actifio environment. Requirements 2 years or more of the most recent hands-on experience with Actifio. Able to install, deploy and upgrade Actifio products, and able to set up special network connectivity such as iSCSI for Actifio clients, able to provide detailed documentation and training to a DBA team. Basic knowledge of the storage array management, understand the concepts and hardware difference among storage such as XIV, InfiniDat, Pure, and flash storage devices, etc. Able to effectively communicate with storage management team and Database Support teams for the storage provisions. Any advanced knowledge in this area is appreciated. Excellent knowledge of Oracle Grid Infrastructure, have troubleshooting skills on Oracle RAC/CRS/ASM level problems and able to manage ASM disks and groups. Excellent knowledge of Oracle database backup and recovery with Oracle Recover Manager (RMAN). Able to manage any backup and recovery task with Actifio product. A real world experience with mission-critical production Oracle database support is highly preferred.
