Job Description: Develop and maintain the high-level design plan for the overall logical and technical architecture. Responsibility for all strategic and/or enterprise-wide technical decisions. Additionally, provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level. Tasks to be accomplished: Support of development of new applications and updates to existent applications including supporting infrastructure, software & database Specific skills needed: Application development experience, definition & design of development standards, business process modeling, development of technology strategies, definition of key performance metrics, capacity a planning, and ability to lead junior team members. 15% Manage development environment Coordinate definition of design and development standards Recommend technologies and standards related to application development for adoption Provide quality customer service Coordinate education of designers and developers Own, manage and enforce design and development standards 15% Identify strategic technical requirements Document at a high level current systems capabilities using established modeling techniques; perform gap analysis between desired systems capabilities and as is function Develop and document business process models required for application re-architecting; coordinate development and documentation of high level business process models in support of applications architecture Develops and maintains high level applications and supporting systems models using established modeling techniques; Coordinates the capture and maintenance of applications and supporting systems models using established modeling practices Identifies strategic architectural requirements from customer requests ; Coordinates the identification and documentation of key architectural requirements derived from customer input Determine application functions which are not meeting expected performance and design tests to discover cause 15% Provide strategic direction for systems configuration and interoperability Evaluates and documents companys technology strategies Assists in providing technical consulting to user groups Make recommendations regarding Strategic investment in technologies related to applications and application development Documents systems boundaries and interfaces using established modeling approaches Coordinate the definition of key performance metrics for major applications Work with business to identify key problem areas and evaluate applicability of automation Audit measurements of systems performance and coordinate data collection with IEs, Developers and DEEs Provide capacity planning assessments for applications Assist with long-term str   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
