This is not an IT project but a business project that is a component of the larger VITA RVZ Program. Any IT project that may be approved for development will be managed by a separate Technical PM. -Must possess knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools. -Must be PMP certified or a qualified Commonwealth of Virginia Project Manager. -Must have experience with planning at the strategic, tactical and operational levels. -Prior experience establishing a portfolio management function strongly preferred. -Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience preferred. -Experience with business process design and redesign preferred. -Demonstrated ability: to analyze issues and develop solutions and recommendations for appropriate action; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to prepare project documentation; to manage a matrixed team; and to establish and maintain effective working relationships. -Ability to work with multiple and diverse stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and consensus on plans, policies, and initiatives at the strategic, tactical, and operational levels.
