The Senior Technical Project will be expected to provide timely and accurate status reporting to all stakeholders, as well as execute the following critical activities: • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues • Manage project resources, overseeing day-to-day task execution • Facilitates quality assurance best practices • Manage project budget, schedule and scope • Ensure applicable project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately The ideal candidate will possess these general knowledge, skills and abilities: o Strong business, technical and analytical skills o Attention to detail and logical thinking o Ability to facilitate technical project meetings and translate outcome into project schedules o Ability to oversee and track progress, translating outcomes into management briefings and weekly status reports o Clear, concise and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills across all levels o Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills o Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and customer service skills o Self-motivated team player, able to work cooperatively in a team environment o Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines when required o Effectively manage and solve complex business and technical problems o Aptitude for learning new technologies, applications and business processes • Required Certification: o Project Management Professional (PMP) certification • Required Skills (5+ Years): o Hands-on Project Management experience o MS Project Schedule development experience, 3rd party vendor schedule integration is a plus o Experience delivering business requirements o Budget, scope, and risk/issue management experience o Leadership of cross functional, matrixed teams o Experience managing complex projects o 3rd party vendor management o Procurement experience o Knowledge of Quality Assurance (e.g. Test Plans, Test Scripts) best practices o Knowledge of varied technologies: COTS solutions, .Net, Oracle, SQL Server and Security best practices -- Cloud-Computing and Data Management best practices are a plus   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
