You will work closely with multiple teams to build integrations with data, insurance platforms, customer-facing web applications, workflows, and other web services. You will become familiar with Life Insurance products, business principles and implementation details. You will report to the Lead Developer. In short, we need someone who is not afraid to dive in to multiple technology and business areas. RESPONSIBILITIES Build REST and SOAP web services for consumption by customer-facing systems Work with XML, XML schemas, and JSON data Access proprietary API from Java Analyze and document file and rate formats Create comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for all tools Author java and javascript tools and utilities for various stakeholders as needed Collaborate with developers from upstream and downstream systems REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2-4 years Java development experience 1-2 years webservice development experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with XML, schema, and JSON Experience in Life Insurance domain Strong Mathematical aptitude   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
