Responsibilities: Writing & executing test strategies, plans and scripts Working with the business, technology, and operations to determine priorities, and schedule of releases Document test procedures, and issues Support testing for a range of projects from defect fixes and enhancements to strategic initiatives Logging of bugs and enhancements into the defect tracking and planning tool Escalating key testing issues and providing feedback to the stakeholders Ensuring all the requirements are covered in the testing. Ensuring testing is completed within established time and that objectives conform to the user requirements and line of business Provide input to and shape UAT management processes in-line with industry best practices Skill level: Mgmt/Lead Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail with superior written, verbal, and problem solving skills Good understanding of: Manual Testing, Automated Testing, Knowledge of SQL Strong knowledge of quality assurance practices and methods is a must. Testing Discipline - Test Strategy Development - Test Case modeling & sizing - Test Execution Management Experience working with Business divisions in the Secondary Mortgage industry Experience supporting Quality Assurance or User Acceptance testing Experience with management, creation, and execution of test packs is required - Experience with HP Quality Center (defect & test plan tool) is a plus Comments: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently.
