Project: The Models Stability & Integrity project develops and maintains various systems, that implement and support models developed by Models, Mission, and Research business divisions Financial Research & Engineering and Credit Modeling departments. These model systems are used across the broader Corporation by other business divisions as well such as ICM, Finance, SFPM, etc., for portfolio management, financial reporting, and other business functions. The project also ensures that these systems are kept up-to-date to meet emerging business priorities and needs based upon changing market conditions. BTI: Models Stability & Integrity Statement: The System Analyst (SA) will be part of the Financial Modeling & Analytic Services support team in the Data & Rules Services IT department. The team develops and maintains various systems that implement, execute, or support models developed by Models and Research business area. The SA will work with the groups in primarily Models & Research and Investments & Capital Markets (ICM) business areas and the IT team to develop and document requirements and related deliverables for small to medium sized projects. The SA will also engage and may participate in testing and UAT stages of these projects. Skill level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs) Skills: The position requires a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired, and five years of business and system applications experience, including experience with project/product lifecycle management. The candidate must have at least five years of extensive experience of preparation and documentation of various type of requirements, and a good understanding of systems architecture/design to form system specifications. The candidate must also have a strong knowledge of and at least three years of experience with SQL and relational databases. The candidate must also have knowledge of and at least three years of experience of operating in a Unix environment with ability to develop and execute test scripts. Knowledge and/or experience with AutoSys scheduling tool is required. Experience with SAS and Matlab is preferred. The candidate must be able to effectively use MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, DOORS, Remedy, ClearCase and ClearQuest , and must be able to work within a well documented project methodology such as SDLC or client AM-CP. The candidate must also be able to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment. The candidate must have the ability to develop and execute test cases and scripts, to ensure requirements traceability and to complete test coverage. Knowledge of primary and/or secondary mortgage markets is preferred.
