Responsibilities Here are the details: Position: Data Strategy/Governance Lead Developer Location: Mclean, VA Position Type: 6 months contract to hire Required skills · Data Strategy / Governance Lead Developer is responsible for all aspects of defining and rolling out the data governance policies supporting the multiple data domains the Chief Data Office supports. · Over 3 years experience developing DCAM or other data governance frameworks · Hands on experience in creating/rolling out Data strategy · Experience leading responses to MRAs · Data architecture experience · Create and implement Data Governance Framework · Highly visible role that will report directly to the CDO · Create data governance processes and controls · Create data governance policies and standards · Ensure that new systems and/or applications adhere to existing data management practices, policies, and procedures · Develop and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders · Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements · Actively manage data owners, data stewards and data custodian forums and content · Develop training plans for data owners and data stewards · Continuously evaluate data governance tools for suitability for the organizations use. Remote conditions Initial 1 month remote then the candidate should be able to relocate to Virginia.
