This position is responsible to provide network and security engineering support for the infrastructure and applications across multi-site enterprise and data center environments; including the evaluation, design, implementation and troubleshooting of network and security infrastructure technologies and solutions. Responsibilities Include: Identify network and security requirements, recommend and design solutions, and ensure secure transition of internal and external hosted applications to production. Understand and advocate Network and Security standards, reference architectures. Perform the technology planning, design, implementation and change support of IT Infrastructure solutions. Support the security risk assessment of applications and infrastructure; including remediation of incident response, vulnerability analysis and threat intelligence. Coordination with Operations team for the design, build and production readiness of Network and Security infrastructure solutions supporting mission critical production environments and applications. Coordination with Information Security team to ensure solution assurance and compliance to security policy, procedures, standards and baseline security configurations. Ensure decisions around IT solutions are made and deviations from standards are properly identified, addressed and communicated. Stay current with developing technologies, emerging threat landscape and predict impact of changing technologies. Ensure consistent delivery of superior technical solutions. Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions and strategies. Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Requirements: Bachelors degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, related field or equivalent experience. At least 10 years of experience in an engineering role working with IP network and security technologies including LAN switching, BGP/OSPF routing, server load balancing, DMZ security, secure communications for large scale multi-site data center environments. 7+ years of hands-on experience with design, implementation, administration and troubleshooting of the following technologies: Cisco IOS and Cisco Nexus Switches and Routers, Cisco ASA VPN, F5 Load Balancers, Checkpoint Firewall, Bluecoat Proxy and SourceFire IDS/IPS. Demonstrated experience with RADIUS/TACACS, DDOS mitigation, network access control, web content proxy/filtering and data loss prevention. Understand High Availability and Disaster Recovery concepts as apply to Network and Security designs. Demonstrated experience with secure hardening of computing platforms and operating systems. Preferred Skills: CCIE or CISSP certification preferred. Other relevant network and security certifications will be considered. Experience in the financial services industry. Experience with endpoint protection including anti-virus, anti-malware, firewall, host intrusion detection. Experience with Imperva SecureSphere web application firewall. Knowledge of information security standards (e.g., ISO, NIST) with an emphasis on NIST 800-53. Must be able to effectively perform both independently and collaboratively as a strong team contributor. Ability to adapt to change; provide quality and on-time delivery.
