Works with both business/technical staff in designing, developing/documenting, conducting tests related to the upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 & Office 2007 to Office 2010. Performs test planning activities, including participation in test strategy development and creation of test scripts, procedures and status reports Conducts software compatibility tests with Office 2010 and Windows 7 operating system Identifies, analyzes, and documents problems with program functionality Collaborates with development team to evaluate, diagnose and resolve issues with software installation or functionality Creates and maintains a record of test steps and results Reports defects found and verifies fixes implemented as a result. Works with application support team to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues Sets up and helps to maintain a test lab Works directly with subject matter experts during user acceptance testing Provides input into the development of quality metrics. 7+ years of hands on experience with software quality assurance Extensive experience with designing and executing detailed functional and technical tests of both custom and commercial off-the-shelf software Extensive experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Experience writing detailed test plans and test scripts Required / Desired Skills Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience with software quality assurance Required 7 Years Design/execute detailed functional/technical tests of software Required 7 Years Write detailed test plans and test scripts Required 7 Years Conduct User Acceptance Testing Required 7 Years Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Required 0 Software testing for Windows operating system upgrades/Microsoft Office Highly desired 0 using Windows 7 in an enterprise environment Highly desired 0 Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) for recording test cases and results Highly desired 0 Experience: 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
