Hands on experience with and advanced skills in the following technologies: Visual Studio 2008/2010; ASP.NET; VB.NET; C#; IIS6; SQL Server 2008 including SSIS, SSAS and Reporting Services; Subversion version control system; SQL Server; Oracle; Active Directory/LDAP data sources in .NET applications; developing .NET web services and consuming SOAP web services in .NET applications; AJAX, XML; Linq; and Microsoft Office 2003/2007. Experience with Telerik Rad Controls is required. 2. 5-12 years minimum experience using the above listed technologies or previous versions of these technologies. 3. Experience using Javascript, HTML, and CSS. 4. Experience as a .NET team lead. 5. Experience with translating application requirements into component and interface specifications. 6. A willingness and ability to follow defined programming and design standards. 7. Experience implementing Section 508 Accessibility requirements. 8. Skilled in establishing effective interpersonal relationships. 9. Able to work independently, under general supervision, and as part of a team on several concurrent tasks with changing priorities. 10. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. 11. Maintain a broad knowledge of current industry technologies, methodologies and design patterns, and their applicability and appropriateness in various solution architectures. 12. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity and professionalism. 13. Mentoring/teaching current staff learning the .Net environment. 14. Prefer experience with Commonwealth of Virginia web standards. 15. This position does not require travel or on call work.
