Description: ABOUT THE ROLE: Seeking an Application Developer to provide support for operations and new development for our Laboratory Information Management Systems, .Net web applications and Data Exchange processes. Must have excellent written and verbal skills and be a team player. Ability to foster good working relationships with team members and users. Ability to work in fast paced public health laboratory environment and manage multiple deadlines. Minimum of 5 years experience with web application development using .Net, C# and VisualStudio. Experience with .Net technologies, REST and/or SOAP web services, Angular, JavaScript, C#, XML and JSON is required. Experience in writing complex SQL and writing Oracle PLSQL programs is required. Experience using Crystal 11 reports. Must have experience in Object Oriented design and Service Oriented Architecture, including use case driven/iterative development. Experience with data modeling and designing logical and normalized databases, web application interfaces and reports that meets user and technical specifications. Should be familiar in using source control tools and issue tracking tools. Knowledge of HL7 guidelines is preferred Must be willing to take (and pass) a criminal background check.
