The selected candidate will • Write and maintain/extend existing PL/SQL and TSQL code to convert initial data sets, system enhancements, reports production, and improved transaction editing. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. • Develop database packages, procedures, functions, and queries to maintain production data and address Oracle code related production support tickets and provide development support. • Design relational models for small and large scale applications. • Work with project and business analyst leads in order to develop and clarify in-depth technical requirements including logical and physical data modeling activities. • Expertise in ETL activities like Data Extraction, Data Modeling, Loading (Full/ Delta upload), and scheduling data loads, creating process chains • Procedures will be developed to migrate these changes or notify business users based on type of edit and business rules. • Develop procedures to populate and update a separate de-normalized database for reporting purposes from the transaction database. • Use Microsoft Team Foundation Server for source code management and team collaboration • Communicate effectively via email and in person with technical staff, management and business stakeholders as needed in the course of performing job duties. • Design and implement ETL processes for data transactions related to Enterprise Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store (ODS), and other data structures to support our Business Intelligence operations. • Help business users analyze data as well as providing data insight to upper management. • Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution. • Ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages. • Provide support and fix issues in the packages ETL/ELT Developer. • Provide data analysis and validation. • Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems. • PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly develop and existing applications. • Familiar with various Datastage stages sequence activities dynamic loading of data from different file formats and Oracle a   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
