VITA has an immediate need of a Technical PM to oversee the VSP Net project/transition from a legacy service to the VDN-managed platform with Verizon. - Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices for management of the broadband circuit portfolio. • Ability to assist with the Data Networking services lifecycle from strategic planning to operations and financials, from a broadband circuit perspective. • Ability to perform Data Networking technology and operational assessments to oversee the Virginia State Police transition project. • Project Management experience and the ability to track milestones/deliverables and report out to VITA leadership. • Experience in managing general network technology projects. • Understands best practices in service management including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared service. - Responsible for responding to and resolving agency and customer escalations Recommended Knowledge/Experiences: • Experience in State/Agency is a plus.
