Work Requirements All work products, by-products, and services such as analysis documents, requirements documents, project charters, work plans, schedules, presentations, emails and other project related documentation are the property of WSDOT will be turned over to the WSDOT ITD IT PMO Manager upon demand. The contractor working as an Expert-level Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for planning, initiating, and managing IT projects, including large, major enterprise projects that are vital to WSDOT program delivery and impact various business units throughout the state. • Contractor will produce project management deliverables that are acceptable to the assigned Lead Project Manager, the WSDOT ITD IT PMO Manager, the WSDOT ITD Assistant Director of Enterprise Implementation, the Office of the State Chief Information Officer (OCIO), and customers. Deliverables must comply with all Information Technology Division standards for quality. • Contractor will be responsible to provide the WSDOT ITD PMO Manager with weekly status reports, and participate in team meetings as required. • Contractor will be responsible to create and maintain project documentation as specified by the Lead Project Manager and the WSDOT ITD IT PMO Manager. • Contractor will be responsible to respond to any OCIO Project Quality Assurance Monthly Status, Findings, or Suggestions. 3.7 Scope of Work Specific Duties The following scope of work defines the activities, deliverables, and prerequisites associated with the delivery of the project throughout all potential periods of performance. Specific duties include (but are not limited to): a) Day to day Interaction with senior and midlevel managers of WSDOT business units, project stakeholders and consultants b) Excellent written communication skills will be essential for documentation of the project, as well as in communicating various issues and meeting the customers expectations c) Excellent verbal communications skills and clear, logical thought processes are essential to effectively lead a diverse team of IT professionals and non-technically-oriented customers d) Working with the business stakeholders, fulfill the business needs with the systems integration and implementation effort e) Using business requirements, leading the team in the definition and documentation of system functional specifications f) Coordinating system requirements documentation g) Organizing and coordinating the participation of user groups and other project support staff h) Establishing user interest, support and acceptance for the project i) Soliciting the involvement of the stakeholders and other users in the creation and review of project deliverables j) Creating the required project documentation as specified by the Information Technology Division PMO k) Updating and maintaining the project work breakdown structure, requirements matrix and stakeholder matrices l) Updating and maintaining the project issues log, risk log, and develop risk mitigation strategies m) Updating and maintaining detailed project work plans using the standard ITD project management tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Project, MS Visio and MS Office) n) Updating and maintaining project Work Breakdown Structures, resource plans, work schedules and budgets o) Updating and maintaining p   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
