Introduction/Background The Project Manager contract position will manage the Agencys upgrade to Microsoft 365. With most Department staff working remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic, upgrading to Microsoft 365 is essential in supporting a remote working environment, including but not limited to, a cloud-based environment, Microsoft Teams, chat-based workspace, Outlook, voice and video meetings, and SharePoint. Dependent on Agency needs, capacity, and funding, this position may also provide Project Management services to other initiatives or projects. Work Requirements The Project Manager contract position services (in partnership with other resources) may include, but are not limited to: • Development of Project Charters and Plans • Project Schedule • Budget Management • Resource Planning • Weekly written Project Status Reports • Project presentations development and delivery • Project documentation monitoring and synchronization • Project team meetings management • Project communications • Project Issue / Risk Definition and Resolution • Team and staff task assignments • Management of meetings identified Preferred Experience Requirements • The candidate should have demonstrated experience implementing or upgrading one or more of the following technologies for a large organization: ? Microsoft 365 ? MS Teams ? Exchange Online ? Office/O365 ? SharePoint Online ? OneDrive ? Exchange (on-prem) ? SharePoint (on-prem) ? Other cloud technologies • The candidate should be able to implement best industry practices on project management successfully implementing medium to large scoped projects spanning between 6 months to one year. • The candidate should have thorough knowledge on risk management to identify and address risk with proper mitigation plans. • The candidate should be able to produce required reports to the leadership teams on a timely basis. • The candidate should be flexible enough to follow the current team processes/procedures in place as defined by DOL and Vendor teams. • The candidate should have excellent verbal/written communication/documentation skills.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
