Essential Job Responsibilities: · Accountable for successful execution of assigned projects. · Oversee assembly of the project team, identifying required resources and tasks. · Facilitate the development of project scopes. · Effectively coordinate the activities of the team, providing leadership and direction throughout the life of the project. · Report regularly on project status to all on Communication Plan. · Strict adherence to change management procedures and policies · Administrative responsibilities include: weekly status reporting, project plan administration, issue tracking, maintain project documents. · Meet regularly with the PMO manager and Sponsor to review issues, risks, actions and milestones. · Monitor resource constraints or other barriers that may impact the critical path of the project and develop appropriate contingency plans. · Promptly and judiciously recap project meetings and plans. · Complete other tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications: Education: 4 year college degree is preferred. Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Job Related Experience: · 2-3 years project management experience. · 5+ years experience in a large, matrix business environment. Additional Requirements: · Strong project management experience · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Decision-making and problem-solving ability · Proficiency in PC (spreadsheet and word processing) usage Preferred Qualifications: · 2+ years in the banking and/or data processing industry. · Understanding to technical interface issues, and computer technology. · Visio experience, MS Project and/or @Task experience. · Business process management experience. · PMI and/or Six Sigma certification is a major plus. · Knowledge of the financial industry, operational functions, and Premier products/services.
