The successful candidate is expected to understand client and stakeholder needs and deliver a coherent technology vision to meet and exceed their respective expectations. Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported and aligned with industry and organizational standards as well as emerging business requirements. Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions. Experience with a formal in Change and Incident Management following ITSM best practices. Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements. Requires advanced skill sets and developing proficiency within discipline. Candidates must have the ability to prioritize operations, support and projects tasks. Works with moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Typically requires five to six years experience. The WI-DOJ is looking for the following skills: 1. Expert skill level to support and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid environment (Exchange Online (EXO) and Exchange 2013 cu 22 on premise). 2. Advanced expertise scripting in PowerShell 3. Experience supporting Exchange and EXO in a virtualized environment 4. Experience supporting Windows Server 2019 and above 5. Expertise working in a virtualized environment (VMWare products) 6. Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD 7. Awareness of these Microsoft Tools - TEAMS, Planner, SharePoint 8. Nice to have - awareness of Veritas Enterprise Vault This position will: - respond to requests for assistance creating MS Outlook resources (shared mailboxes, calendars, distribution lists, other resources) - troubleshoot Outlook issues with the VDI (Virtual Desktop Interface) support team - Exchange environment daily health checks; assist with patching - Some general server infrastructure support This position generally works 7:45 am - 4:30pm, but is expected to work the hours required to maintain service levels and meet deadlines as directed by team supervisor. This position is expected to participate in the on-call rotation. Service Ownership Responsibilities: • Provide subject matter expertise (SME) on the technical aspects of the application or service when asked by peers, management, or Divisional partners for information or status. • Validate that the application or service is available or unavailable in the event of a critical service disruption. • Assist with troubleshooting the application or service upon request or when activated through the DOJ DR or critical incident response plans. • Define recommendations for application-specific upgrades, releases, and compliance with DOJ quality standards, including security, high availability, and performance. • Respond to the on-call phone for incidents • Respond to the on-call staff Candidates will be asked to demonstrate skills during the interview by working through a problem similar to what they will face in the role and come up with a solution.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
