Description: we requires a seasoned Security Consultant with hands-on, well-rounded security background and experience in multiple domains. To be successful, the Security Consultant must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This overall effort will be initially scoped for a six-month period, with the possibility of one or more six-month extensions. Essential activities: • Experience securing hybrid infrastructures (on-premise/cloud) • Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance security solutions, including but not limited to: o Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Azure o Identity and Access Management / Authentication Systems o Citrix / VPN o IDS/IPS o Firewalls / WAF o SIEM / Log Management Systems o Proxies / Web Filtering Systems o Data Loss Prevention o Encryption Technologies o VMware • Perform vulnerability assessments against a wide array of technologies and platforms • Conduct incident response and investigation for elevated security incidents/events The ideal candidate: • Minimum of 8-10 years experience with general security and risk mitigation knowledge across multiple technical disciplines • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Infrastructure/Networking or related field • Security certifications desired: CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP • Internal and external vulnerability scanning with good understanding of risk-based approach to remediation • Experience in configuring and applying technical security controls to on-prem/cloud platforms, such as Azure, workstations, servers, databases, and network devices • Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) • Experience with Cyber threat methodologies, including the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK Matrix, and applying them to organization security operations • Strong information security risk-based prioritization abilities • Strong analytics skills and ability to manage and coordinate multiple ongoing projects • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
