Data is entered via mainframe IMS/DC or web .Net/JAVA, stored in DB2, and made available to end-users via IMS/DC or .Net/JAVA screens, EOS/Control-D reports, and Business Objects Datamart reports. Project duties will be to work as part of a team to maintain and enhance applications using mainframe and web tools and techniques. The person in this position will act as a lead analyst, working directly with customers to define requirements and design, code, test, and implement applications changes and enhancements and new applications. The person in this position will also be responsible for maintaining the IV-A/IV-D (CARES/KIDS) batch interface programs. Project duties will also include implementation activities such as testing and quality assurance, and development of user documentation, training materials and help screens. Preference will be given to qualified candidates with past work experience or business knowledge of Wisconsins W-2 and child care programs, knowledge of the IV-A/IV-D interface, prior experience with the CARES system, and familiarity with State of Wisconsin application systems, procedures, and development standards.
