This position will provide key input for WTCS system design, documentation, modeling, and development. Major responsibilities include: • Designing, developing, and maintaining complex, integrated WTCS data systems in a Microsoft SQL Environment with a Java front end. o Maintain data policies,procedures and standards including the use of data models and logical data designs. o Review data requirements,system design,Entity Relationship Diagrams, documentation,and code of other development staff related to code reviews. o Determine and recommend appropriate database design,management, and analysis tools to ensure the needs of data users are met in a technically current, secure, and user-friendly format. o Gather and analyze end-user data requirements to identify and coordinate the implementation of data system modifications as needed to meet emerging state and district data needs, changing fiscal policy and state and federal reporting requirements. • Assisting other development staff in the design and development of data systems including developing and deploying changes to the systems. o Gather and analyze end-user data requirements, design, and create specialized reports or databases necessary to provide accurate data. o Develop and implement data extracts as requested from a variety of stakeholders. o Determine and recommend appropriate database design,management, and analysis tools to ensure the needs of data users are met. o Evaluate data requests and determine the best reporting methods based on user needs and abilities.Assess data requests to determine applicability to multiple users. • Performing analysis of the resulting data to evaluate operations and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
