This developer will work as part of a team to develop and enhance mainframe applications using technologies such as COBOL and DB2 databases to implement maintenance & enhancement mainframe functionality. The Cobol Mainframe Programmer 3 (CMP3) will work on high profile mainframe application projects within the Family Support Enterprise (FSE) section. The in cumbant will maintain and develop online and batch application programs by reviewing, analyzing, coding, testing and debugging application code. They will develop specifications, diagrams, flowcharts and documentation. The CMP3 will analyze and develop programs using COBOL, DB2, C#.NET, XML, API, SQL Server, 2016/2017, Visual Studio 2017/2019, VSAM, and JCL for the new enhancements. The CMP3 will implement application changes, enhancements and new applications and provide post implementation support. This position requires a bachelors degree in a related area and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
