Description :

THESE ARE NON-TRADITIONAL WORK SHIFTS.

12:00am – 8:30am Tuesday through Saturday.
8:00pm - 8:30am Sat/Sun Mon - Wed 12:00am - 08:30am

This position will work both in the Femrite Office and remotely on a rotating basis. The rotation of working remotely is in place temporarily to allow for social distancing while still maintaining an expected in-office staffing level required by our CIJIS Data Center accreditation. Working remotely requires the individual to have a telephone (land line preferred but cell phone is OK), windows 10 computer with a current security/anti-virus program, headset, and a location with no distractions. No equipment will be provided by DET. There is no requirement to work remotely and if the individual would prefer to work in the office COVID protocols are in place; mask requirement and social distancing is followed.

Will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Help Desk capabilities with approximately 6mo - 1 year of experience in the IT customer service field or in a customer support related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

This is a 24x7x365 support center position and to provide adequate coverage an occasional shift in work hours and overtime may be necessary.
