Description: This field tech job would be mostly based at the DOC Central Office in Madison, WI doing hands on troubleshooting, imaging and installing new equipment for the staff who work in the building, also maintain the inventory of the new equipment and issue hardware to the other field techs( 85 % of the time). When needed ( 15 % of the time ) traveling to other DOC corrections institutions to assists other teams members for project work and fixing incidents. When traveling you are paid for you time and mileage ( WI State Vehicle can be used if needed). The candidate would have the option of working five 8 hours days in a two week period or working nine 9 hours days over the two week period with one day off. This job requires that person work in the office with no remote work except for inclement weather days.
