No equipment will be provided by DET. There is no requirement to work remotely and if the individual would prefer to work in the office all COVID protocols are followed and in place; mask requirement and social distancing is expected to be followed by all staff in the office. This position will provide support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Help Desk capabilities with approximately 6mo - 1 year of experience in the IT customer service field or in a customer support related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
