Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to assist with requirements gathering and design sessions necessary to understand and document the scope and business requirements. Ensure models, reports, and dashboards achieve the requested business objectives Lead the translation of business needs into feasible and acceptable reporting design solutions. Ability to estimate and communicate the work effort to EDW management and Stakeholders. Own the deliverables from inception, review and signoff of the deliverables. Ability to translate business needs into technical designs. Strong experience with EDW development lifecycle (SDLC and/or Agile) Strong verbal and written communication, presentation and customer service skills. Analysis Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and advanced SQL programming, (PL/SQL preferred). Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret and analyze data from various source systems to support data reporting needs. Ability to solve complex integration design challenges. BI Report and Cube Development Experience with reporting tools such as Cognos/IBM Analytics BI applications and thorough knowledge of the toolset (Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, and Transformer). Expertise with modeling data using Cognos Framework Manager and Transformer. Design, develop, and implement Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards, including SharePoint sites interface. Strong understanding of relational database concepts, utilized Netezza, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MS Access as data sources for modeling and supporting analytical and reporting needs of the business. Suggest, document and enforce best practices including overall Business Intelligence architecture. Review, improve and enhance existing reports, dashboards, cubes to ensure compliance with best practices. Familiarity with Supply Chain and Asset Management is a plus.
