Description : Job Description We have an immediate opening at the department of client for a developer to participate in our Data Management Program and on our Business Intelligence team. Data is one of our most valuable assets and we strive to become a more data-literate and data-driven organization. The main responsibilities for this position are to perform data analysis and develop visualizations and reports that support business outcomes. This position will work on a small, collaborative team that uses agile practices to deliver value to our business partners. Core Responsibilities, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Experience gathering & understanding user requirements, designing solutions, developing, testing, and implementing solutions that ensure requirements are achieved through high quality deliverables. • Experience performing data analysis on complex data sets. • Experience with dashboard design, full life cycle management, and the application of best practices including use of visual design principles. • Experienced in data storytelling. • Experience with quality assurance and developing standards to certify visualizations and data sources for production use • Experience with Power BI or Tableau. • Experience using complex SQL with relational databases. • Proven ability to provide mentoring to others on dashboard development, usability, user experience design and design best practices. • Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent, 3 to 6-month dashboard design and development projects. • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, ability to influence others and to interact with individuals at all levels. • Ability to work productively with cross-functional working groups and across organizational layers. • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, collaborating, and team building. • Ability to develop and deliver presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
