PDG B-5 is a customer facing project that not only requires an individual with experience leading business area projects but also someone with a strong background in project management and excellent communication skills. Identifying this resource is vital to ensure projects are properly managed and communication is presented to both internal and external stakeholders around the efforts of the PDG B-5 Implementation grant. There will be ongoing project management and communication needs throughout the next three years. In addition, we anticipate three peaks requiring dedicated communication resources: • CY21 – PDG B-5 Implementation Year One • CY22 – PDG B-5 Implementation Year Two • CY23 – PDG B-5 Implementation Year Three Having a resource devoted to project management and communication will enable DECE to properly manage projects and communicate changes to the provider community and internal staff during these PDG B-5 Implementation Years. This analysis identifies the need for a full-time position with these main duties: 60% Project management functions across all PDG B-5 identified projects, including oversight of workplans, timelines, and evaluation efforts. 20% External & internal stakeholder engagement – communicate out PDG B-5 status to Divisional and Department Management Teams MGT, workgroups, providers, parents and Early Childhood Education advocacy organizations. 20% Develop automated tools (e.g. SharePoint templates) to streamline internal processes and make PDG B-5 project development and execution efforts more efficient. Top 3 Desired Skills: -High level of Project Management/Coordinate will be required -Strong communication skills with a variety of management levels -MS Project software advanced skills Interview Process: -Phone and web based interviews will be acceptable.
