Description : The DCF Family Support Enterprise section is looking for a results oriented and adaptable individual with a can do attitude to lead legacy and modernized web application development projects for our business partners. This project manager will lead multiple projects from small to multi-million-dollar development efforts. The project manager will work with other project managers in DCF and possibly with other State of WI Departments such as the Department of Administration (DOA) and the Department of Health Services (DHS). The person in this role will lead the ITweb development team members to complete projects and work closely with our business partners to ensure its success. The individual in this position will: • Be the face of rewarding projects that deliver enhanced productsfor DCF and help Wisconsins most vulnerable citizens every day. • Be responsible for technical and overall project management on multiple large projects. • Develop and maintain project charters, plans, deliverables, and other project artifacts. • Work closely with the project sponsor and IT senior management to understand and prioritize project tasks, solve complex technical problems, understand business objectives and problems, identify alternative solutions, and perform feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis. • Lead effective teams and direct the work of the project team(s) to meet project milestones. • Have 12 or more years of experience leading large application development projects. • Experience with the State of WI CARES system would be a plus List any special qualifications & years of experience:(List any specific skills, software, or requirements the position will require.
