This position will work closely with other fellow developers and be responsible for designing, developing, testing, improving, and maintaining two Salesforce environments enhanced with workflows designed to improve DSPS complex licensing, permitting, and inspection processes. This role will also work closely with data integrations and provide Salesforce API consulting to support and secure current and expanded uses of data sharing. This position will report to the DSPS IT Director and will be a member of the DOA DET DSPS Salesforce developer team. This position will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect and manage requirements, translate business needs to technical functionality, provide development support to team members, create and maintain documentation, manage feature implementations, and monitor the Salesforce environments. • Key Responsibilities: o Analyzes and defines specifications and develops Salesforce functionality that supports current and future business functions. o Understands system integrations, data management, and security. o Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates documentation, and performs application coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. o Communicates project updates, issues, and risks to team to ensure timelines are being maintained. o Establishes relationships with stakeholders and project team for technical resources, architecture review, project direction, and risk management. o Provides written work estimates for reviews and presentations. o Actively participates in issue review and resolution meetings with business teams. o Identifies areas where improvements can be made to increase performance, enhance security, or reduce complexity. o Tracks productivity using Agile and Dev Ops frameworks and is experienced working with project and issue management solutions. o Serves as the lead knowledge transfer resource with vendors on project handoffs. • Top Skills: o Requires a bachelors or associate degree in area of specialty or 5-7+ years of experience in the field or a related area. o Proficient with Salesforce developer tools including Apex Classes, Apex Triggers and Visual force to develop custom business logic. o Experience with Salesforce security configurations, including profiles and permission sets. o Familiar with Salesforce government permitting, licensing, and inspection workflows and objects. o Current Salesforce certifications (technical focus). o Knowledge of Salesforce reports, dashboards, data and system management. o Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. o Knowledge of software development best practices for life cycle, security, performance, maintenance, and quality assurance. o Experience using Agile management tools. o Working knowledge of security frameworks and implementations. o Working knowledge of integrations and REST APIs o Excellent troubleshooting and creativity skills. o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
