Complete Description: The Senior Technical Architecture Specialist (STAS) is the technical expert centered on a technology, technologies, or a portfolio of applications. Responsibilities: The Architecture Specialist is expected to possess strong technical proficiency in one or more of the core Technology Domains, technical proficiency in several others, and technical awareness in the rest. The Architecture Specialist will report to the Systems Engineering Manager – Client Server. The Technology Domains for this position is VMware & Private Cloud Computing. Experience in technically supervising a project. Candidate must be able to accept a design and set of directions and requirements and see through to fulfillment. Ability to process requests for resources from multiple projects in timely and orderly manner. This candidate will manage technical team resources as necessary to successfully delegate lower tier project tasks. Provide daily updates to team managers and or project managers as required to measure project progression. Required Skills: * Experience administering systems in a VMware environment * Prior experience with VMware ESX 4.x * Prior experience managing a large virtual infrastructure using the Virtual Infrastructure Client * Extensive experience working with VCenter * VMwares cloud model * Experience in technically supervising a project * Understanding of Storage Area technologies including storage allocation, switch multi-pathing, WWNs * Knowledge of HP Blade enclosures and the provisioning of those servers. * Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking including DMZs and Security Zones. Desired Skills: * VMWare 5.x * Prior experience managing virtual infrastructure using Powershell * Prior experience with VMwares Chargeback and vCenter Operations modules * Manage Microsoft Active Directory Domains * Manage Microsoft Windows SharePoint * Manage Microsoft Windows SQL Server   Call 502-379-4456 Ext 100 for more details.
