The primary purpose of this position is to develop and maintain schedules for the Modernization Program and related projects. Project Scheduler shall work with the project team, vendors, technical and operational staff to develop the work breakdown structure, identify tasks, durations, and assigned resources, and integrate sub-schedules into the Modernization master project schedule. This includes monitoring and identifying dependencies with other agency or enterprise projects. Many of these projects involve technical components and it is critical that the individual in this position have sufficient information technology experience to advise and coordinate the technical activities between these projects. Project Scheduler shall work with task owners to obtain progress on tasks, update and maintain the schedule, and develop schedule performance reports. Project Scheduler shall analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effects of changes to the schedule, identify problem areas, and collaborate to recommend solutions and workarounds. Project scheduler shall develop and distribute short interval schedules to guide weekly work. Project Scheduler shall collaborate with the team to support effective change management, budget management, and quality management.
